... even though I've got two MT cars, for some reason I've collected a
couple TCUs over the years ... I've got one from a '90 with the old
programming and one from a '91 with the new programming (I think I might
even have a TCU that was claimed to be from a Euro model).  AFAIK the
only difference is the EPROM ... if someone wanted to experiment (no
warrantees on my part) I would be willing to whip up some copies of the
old/new code.  

If there's any interest I can dig further ... I think I posted what I
had some time in the past ... but it was probably from before the
archives got trashed ...
