The 3.6 and 4.2 are different motors internally, according to Audi. I
really doubt that the crankshafts will go from one motor to the other.
Other bad part is internal engine bits are hard to find. I'd either
find a 4.2 or use the 3.6, unless you want to spend several zeros
machining a custom crank etc. etc. etc.
