82mm as a maxium bore for the 4.2? The 4.2 has a bore of 84.5mm so really 
you could sleeve it and put smaller pistons in it to yield what your looking 
for, stroking a 3.6 will be an extremely expensive ordeal as you'll have to 
get a crank custom machined or offset ground (povided it will even fit in 
the block).

Unless you have a several zeros after the decimal point as a budget your 
best avenue is to probably get a 4.2 or 3.6 and go from there.
