[V8] Radio Out Problem

Another BTDT...my '91 developed a similar problem.  Very light detent feel on
the on-off, sometimes came on, oft times turned itself off when the car hit a
bump.  I tore mine apart--de-soldered the very complex (definitely NOT
plastic) multi-switch.  My recollection was that the on-off function is a
separate bank from the volume slider.  I think that the problem was a faulty
spring on the on-off bit.  I rebent the spring, resoldered it together and it
has been working flawlessly for the last 3 years. (I replaced all the little
button springs at the same time (through the Blaupunkt repair part's kit).
