[V8] the wow's of spain

hi all 
just got back from my little drive down through europe and with little more  
than 3500miles put on the clock i have to say was the worst driving experence 
of  my life.
all went well as far as lyon in france when a hose blew due to it rubbing  in 
the fan i repaired this temporalery to get us to our over night stop off in  
spain but thats when all the fun started 
first was a missing on the engine then a banging from the backend power on  
bang power off bang ? think it might be a drive shaft problem .
anyway got down to the villa in southern spain and went to sort out the  pipe 
which i thought would be easy with the number of audis on the roads in  spain
orderd the pipe went back after a week still no pipe went back three  days 
latter and the pipe was in only it was for a 2.2 200 when i pointed this  out 
the spanish guy told me my car was a 200 hmmmmmmmmmm no sorry mate its a v8  i 
siad with this he srugged his shoulders and walked away !!
ok i thought ill reair it and get back to the uk for a  replacement
