Done, Zay.
I aso enjoyed our relatively short time together. So I was right about that Temp sensor after all :-) Will be replacing mine today.
Zay, try sending future e-mails to V8 at audifans.com instead of the request address. Also make sure you are subscribed to the list from whatever e-mail account you're e-mailing from. See you end of January.
Ingo

Hi,
To be able to hang out with a couple of the "list legends" was great. Of course, Tony and I have known each other for over a year now and he has been a good friend and a V8 life saver too many times to count. I also appreciate the camaraderie and the friends I have been able to make on this list. JDevecka (diemarthadie), Michael Flynn, Ingo, Tony (TFH), just to name a few.
Ingo, great to meet you and a pleasure hanging out although it was very little time. It was hard to juggle 19 hour work days, my whole family being in town, and V8 friends coming into town but it was worth it. Come one come all. If we have a gathering in LV, I'll pick anyone up at the airport, no problem.as long as the V8 is functional J.
Also, wanted to thank everyone for their responses to my emissions woes. It did end up being a faulty 02 sensor *but* that was because the coolant temp sensor had gone bad. Both are now replaced and I have less money but the car is now somewhat back to normal. I am dreading the steering rack install but I am adding 3 quarts a week of fluid to the power steering reservoir so it is something that I must do real soon.
Thanks again to ALL who took there time and expertise to help me out.

Zay and his wife Vilma were nice enough to pick me up from the Airport on Thursday evening after he had just had his oxygen sensor on the V8 replaced -- but we were both too tired (him from all his OT hours and me from the very LONG day), so when we all had some free time on Saturday afternoon, Tony drove into town and we met up with Zay for lunch at what looked to be a real dive Chinese joint that had some great food. Talked Audis, of course, and the apt skills (sorry, Skillz to the younger crowd) of Tony to figure out solutions to Audi problems as they arise -- ask him about his beater 5ktq tow car boat experience sometime :-)
Then Zay had to get back to work and Tony and I went to his favorite Vegas hangout: The Auto Collection / sale at the Imperial Palace. Now that was fun, including the 2.1 sec 0-60 700hp Cosworth RS200 Evolution, 200 Trans Am Quattro and S1 Quattro Rally cars. Sorry, I'd have to sell the house, thank you :-) More info: http://www.autocollections.com/
Anyhow, it was nice putting faces to the names and we were thinking about a get together sometime. I know it's tough, but I think this coming summer would be ideal. Watcha think?
Ingo
