[V8] 90 V8 Bose rear amplifier recall?

Last I heard the 90's were never included in the recall.  There are
several places that will rebuild the amps if you desire, or look in the
archives, many posts on replacing the capacitors yourself.  Don't bother
under the dash grilles, no bose speakers, just one for the phone under
the passenger side.  Good place to add speakers if you go to a
replacement head and new speakers.

Hi, I just pulled all the speakers out of the car as one by one, they  
have failed/gotten worse.  I saw on one of the car audio sites "90 V8  
bose rear amplifier recall---contact dealer"...University Audi 
(seattle) said "no recall notice on '90 V8.  Anyone have any info if  
the '90 was finally included....Also, do the dash speakers have an  
amp?   My manual says to pry off the covers...and being very  
careful...cracked one and stopped there.  Sincerely Tom
