Ahh, no.  Not quite.  Well, yes, but that would only apply wrt the original
V8 through '94.  It doesn't quite work like the other cars because they
changed the body style and name to A8 (The other cars they just changed the
designation).

I've had people on more than one occasion ask how I like my A8 and had to
correct them -- maybe UrA8? ;-)

In any case the Audi V8 was the first quattro with V8 (hence V8 designation)
and also the first available with an automatic transmission.
