BTW, I meant to mention that if anyone on the list needs a place to put a picture or two, shoot me an email, I will upload, and send you a link to email to the gang. Happy to do it, even if you have your own V8 webpage you haven't updated in 5 years with your new toys (Ingo!). :-)

Just giving you a bad time :-)

Regards,

- Jeremy

Should be perfect -- If the car isn't lowered too much. I'm running
Compomotive 17x8 ET30 with H&R 15mm spacers and H&R wheel studs, giving an
equivalent of ET15 with stock ride height. Unless you have special camber
adjustment plates, you can forget about getting it right at the front.
However, you can (and should) adjust the rears so that you don't wear out
the inside tread. Looking forward to seeing the pics. BTW, some wheels do
not work with wheel studs.

One of these days I might post some of my setup. BTW, I'd recommend using
some antiseize on the spacer side that mates to the hub, so that you can
remove if needed -- yes, I'm speaking from experience ;-)

OK, they just arrived and I snapped a few pics:

http://198.107.18.114/v8q/pics/HR25mm-2.jpg

2.85lbs unsprung weight more per wheel. The old Aero wheel + tire was
42lbs. The Avus (with bald tires) is 45lbs. + another 3lbs for the
spacers. Could be better, eh? But could be worse! ;-)

H&R part number is 5055571. These are the DRA style, so you will notice
in the pics, it comes with new wheel bolts that will bolt these to my
hubs. My old bolts will work just fine, and bolt to the spacer. You
will also notice they are hubcentric, so the weight of the car is not
supported only by the sheer strength of the wheel bolts.

BTW, someone asked me where I got them:

Think I can get them installed on my car over the lunch hour? We'll
find out!
