Mike,

Have you run the Koni's?  I'm looking for an alternative as well.  I
have Bilstein HD's and am not happy with the ride quality, but I don't
feel that Boge TG will make me happy either.  I've got them on my 200
and my CGT and they're just okay.

What other options are there?

Are they any straight hydraulic shocks available from anyone for these?
