[V8] Starts then dies (x2) last night, then was fine

Drove home from work last night.  Stopped by Euro Auto Plex to chit-chat 
with Mr Rek.
Left and fired up the V8 only to watch it die after catching.
Hmmmm?
Fired it again, died again.
WTF?
Fired it a 3rd time and treated it like stubborn CIS (using neutral and 
keeping revs up) for a couple blocks.
Everything back to normal.
Drove to work this AM and it was ducky.

Oddity, issue, karma or other?
