Being a mechanical design engineer at Renntech, Kleeman is like a swear to me.  Seriously though, I am sure they make good products but those HP claims are very fluffed.  That is nearly 125 crank hp per liter.  In my opinion that is a very very long shot on a three valve, stock internals, supercharged engine.  We also have a lysholm supercharger setup with a laminova intercooler...along with the best software.  
Obviously in this business, having the highest power output for a given engine is a big deal.  On a stock 55 Kompressor engine the supercharger soaks up about 100hp at full rpm and boost.  After we install a larger crankshaft pulley the supercharger is running faster, harder and less efficiently.  At this point, it is surely soaking up a lot more than 100hp.  Also, that lost power must go somewhere...heating the intake air.  It would be very nice to have a good portion of that power back.  I totally agree Keith, there are a lot of good qualities to a supercharger.  In a less than 10 psi, stock internals application a supercharger is great.  For many, the instant boost is irreplaceable.  It is fun to talk about this stuff and I hope I didn't piss anyone off in the process.
