With the A8 4.2L making 300HP, what would it take
to swap one of them in the '90 3.6L engine?  Lots
of wiring and electronic modules for sure, but at
least you would end up with all Audi parts. If I
were to go that route, I'd include the 5-speed
Tiptronic transmission, too.  But for the cost of
the '90 V8 car + A8 V8 engine, you can just buy
the A8 and be done with it.

I'm just playing devil's advocate, as I know the
potential with the SC is greater. And you all
like to tinker. :)
