Fun as hell, and not so. First of all, think about this. Any cars come with
a longitudinal VR6? nope. So, I had to turn it from the original mounts and
weld, cut, weld, etc. About a month of free time (probably 200 hours) and it
finally ran. Ate a trans a week!! Thank god I worked for a wrecking yard
that had about 30 Foxes :)
It would burn rubber in third at 60!!. Here's why. Worn shocks - about 8-10
bounces. 13" tires. Oh, and the original solid front rotors and drums out
back. But it was fast. It made 165 hp to the wheels, and weighed 1980lbs
with the VR6. All in all, not nearly worth the effort, but what else are you
going to do at 17?
