The 250's had a pair of Zenith carbs.  Ridiculously complicated over
engineered PITA Zeniths.  Luckily Jam Engineering made (makes?) a nice
kit to convert them over to a pair of dual Webbers.

If I recall correctly, the carbed 280's were equipped with a single Solex
carb.  Just as big a PITA as the dual Zeniths.
