[V8] Looking for Diag plugs ...

I think you will find the plugs in any VW/Audi Steve. No need to wait for a V8.
You might also be able to scavange the contacts out of another connector and put
them in your shell. Some connectors are built with removable contacts and some
aren't. Most of these connectors use the same pins inside.
