[V8] the never ending tire question

Going to bother the list with a tire question.

I have the Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloce in 215/60 HR15 on the V8 right now and
am looking to replace them. They've given good service, I have over 40k miles
on them, and the only complaint I have is with the noise they generate, and
some skittishness in heavy rain.

My replacement options for the V8 standard sized 15 inch wheels are:

Pirelli P6000 215/60WR15 summer performance tires.
Pirelli P6000 Sport Veloce 215/60VR15 all season tires.
Yokohama AVS ES100 215/60VR15 summer performance tires.
Michelin Pilot XGT V4 215/60VR15 all season tires.

Any one have any experience with the above tires and can give me an opinion on
handling, noise and wet weather characteristics? I've read some good reviews
on the Yokohama ES100 tires, but am concerned about road noise and how they
behave in the wet after some wear. I had Michelin tires before that handled
well when new, but then after a year of service gave very poor handling in
the wet. I'm wondering if they've improved over the years.
