[V8] the never ending tire question

I had Yoko AVS Intermediates (I think they were the ones the ES100 replaced...) on my CGT and really liked them, for 25,000 miles... then they were like slicks in the rain, even though they had lots of tread. My V8 came with Cooper Cobras that were nearly new. They were LOUD and pretty lousy in the rain. I have Blizzaks on for the winter and found a set of rims with Eagle HPs already mounted (still with their whiskers) for the summer. I liked the HP on the CGT and found it was fairly quiet and wore well, handled rain pretty nicely but not snow...

I once tried to start a section of the Knowledgebase to get everyone's collective thoughts on Audi model/tire/season choices - kind of like what Tirerack does... but no one picked up on it. It seems like it would be very helpful to get people using that again...
