[V8] Any magic tricks re: cruise-control in-op

Hmm.  Interesting.  I lost the cruise control when I switched from the
airbag to non-airbag steering wheel.  Methinks the switch on mine as well...

... the V8 is the only car I've had CC problems on that a simple fix
couldn't do the job ... it had the switch on the column fail.  If you do
not find the easy ones effective you may want to try that ... fairly
easy fix ...
