I've got Khumo ECSTA 235/45-17s on the Gentleman's Express ('93V8Q5).
There were a few, maybe 100, miles on them when I left AudiConnection
on my circuitous way back to beautiful downtown Baja Alabama two weeks
ago tomorrow. I looked at the tires with somed skepticism, thinking
there wasn't very much tread depth; and wondering idly how they'd
handle rain or snow.
Turns out I didn't have long to wonder as by the time I got to my first
stop at Bob Myer's house in Fayetteville, WV, it was raining hard. The
next morning, the car was covered in ice, the temp had fallen to 27
degrees F, and the rain had changed to snow. It snowed hard (and the
temp remained below freezing) until I got near Bristol, Tn, when the
sun returned.
I've gotta say that I'm impressed, They were very sure footed in the
snow and rain, and quiet to boot. No complaints at all, Thanks for the
recommendation, Keith!
