I have found them to be quite funny at times, like when a friend was
going to buy an Audi (against my advise...I have enough friends with
Audi's ;-) that had 2 bad hoses, bad bomb, and a squealing pump, along
with some very red transmission fluid in the hydraulic reservoir. Guy
selling the car said he would take $50 to fix the hydraulics...that was
funny, even funnier when I managed to convince the clueless used car
dealer that my friend would pay an extra $75 for the car if the dealer
fixed the hydraulics first. He agreed, two days later the dealer calls
up and says the car is no longer available and it was wholesaled out
because "someone hit it in the parking lot", yeah, right.
Friend ended up buying a BlowVo wagon for cheap, we both dodged that
Teutonic bullet.
