[V8] Strut failure

 I hit a large pothole last night. I blew out the left front tire and the rear tire has a bulge in the sidewall,so I need two new tires. Unfortunaly, the strut is leaking also.Does anyone have any information on what type is the best for normal driving?I was thinking of Boge,but I really don't know.
    While I was looking at the struts I noticed that the front brake pads are quite worn.I was suprised as I changed them 28k ago.I used beck arnley pads.Is this normal wear for this car? I also replaced the ufo's at that time.
