As promised, I snapped some photos of the iPod Mini install:

Pretty cool, eh? I took out the two blanks between the passenger seat
heater and the AntiLock, and slid everything down 2 spots (with the
exception of the blank in the middle which is actually larger than the
rest of the positions). I relocated the cigarette lighter behind the
scenes, (along with the Belkin adapter) so I can return it to stock when
I go to sell the beast some day. I had to notch the plastic (behind the
wood) on the climate control trim piece, as well as add (4) 1/4 inch
spacers to move the climate control unit and ash tray forward 1/4 inch
to clear the plastic plug on the bottom of the iPod. I think I will cut
a piece of Black plastic laminate to fit behind the iPod to clean up the
look of things when it is out of the car...
I also finally got around to swapping the Bose speakers out of the doors
(pulled the amps when I did the radio). Put in some 4" Pioneers that I
got free from work:

There is a problem in that the Bose are 3 hole speakers and all other
speakers are 4 hole... I bent one of the tabs on the Pioneers and
reinstalled the Bose 3-hole 'grill', making sure to hit one of the 4
Pioneer holes. The rest of the speaker is held in place by the grill.
Happy New Year to you all!
Regards,
- Jeremy
