Yes, I feel like a tool for asking too (I gotta get the cd rom for the car!)

Started going through everything on the car  - tb, water pump and idlers all look in very good shape - just a tad of surface ruse on the water pump, belt had no cracks at all that we could see.

Battery voltage - alternator is apparantly dead (Bosch rebuild) - I assume these are internally regulated?  So we are going to replace that tomorrow...but where is the tensioner for the serpentine?

Brakes - had one leaky line (I assume it happened while trailering the car down from the straps) - brake lines are dry cracked so I got the stainless ones ready to go.  Does anyone recommend a certain pad, or are the OEM's ok?  Also, I thought Audi's used mineral oil for the hydraulics?  Mine has a sticker that says DOT4?
