[V8] V8 Crankshaft bolt pattern

... if you do a bit of research you might well find that transplanting
Audi V8 (PT/ABH) engines into other vehicles isn't that rare given how
many of them there were made ... it is a fairly compact and light weight
power plant, and you can get them for next to nothing. Some time back I
helped a guy out in figuring out what he'd need to make the engine run
in a race car he was building. It turns out the V8 engine and wiring
harness seems as though it was designed to be modular.

As to determining the mounting interface ... you might want to
investigate the vendors of the adapter plates which are used to bolt
Audi transaxles up to 'murkin V8 engines ... yes, this is also a common
application, using Audi FWD (and even AWD) transaxles in mid-engine kit
cars ...

BTW, "Scott" is Scott Justusson ... QSHIPQ at aol.com or
http://www.qshipq.com/ ... he is a member of this list.

Good luck on your project! I know I'm not laughing ... I say best of
luck to you!
