[V8] NAC - '99 WMB 740i info request

Howdy all, please forgive the crossposting and lack of Audi content, 
but my neighbor is contemplating the purchase of a '99 MWB 740i and 
wants to know if there are any $eriou$ issue$ (other than the fact that 
it's not an Audi) he should be concerned about.  The lad does not have 
a confuser, much less internet access.
