[V8] Transverse V8

Actually, I think it might be well served to use the 016 Transmission, 
not sure what it was available in, but if you're going to do the Rabbit 
truck (Dasher?) You could make it a very well balanced Mid Engine Rear 
Drive and have the V8 Mounted Longitudinally. Really placing the engine 
in the middle of the little wabbit. The 016 Might be a Quattro tranny, 
but there might be a 2 wheel drive 5 speed Audi variant that would 
accept the motor with only the change of a fly wheel.
