carport.

I have an '89 Trooper. Before I decided to purchase Roger Woodbury's
'93 V8Q and have brothers Keith and Bruce work their magic on it and
convert it to a 5-speed, I thought about putting a v8 into the Trooper.
In my search for info, I found this site which anyone similarly
interested should see:

I've got my second 2.8L chebby V6 in the trooper (first one threw a rod
at 174K miles) and one term you would never use in conjunction with the
trooper is "Zippy." "Stout" and "Bulletproof" apply, but "Zippy?"
Never!

It will barely out-accelerate my '61 GMC 4106. Of course the 4106 does
have a V8. As it, Detroit Diesel 8V71... and weighs over 23,000 lbs.
Did I mention that it was a Greyhound in an earlier life...?

yer kindly ol' Unka Bart
