Well I have to chime in here on a few points.

DO NOT USE "COLDHEAT" on ANY Electronic Circuit!   Peroid!   
 
ColdHeat works like a TIG Welding torch and will FRY your Electronics.  A Ham Radio friend of mine pointed this out.  If you watch the commercials on TV some scenes are not well editted and you can still see the sparks from the torch tip.

Some night this week I will be attacking the instrument cluster repair 
ala:Ingo.  I bought the fancy new ColdHeat cordless soldering pencil 
from RadioShack and will report on it's function as well.

Why the heck did it take so long for me to get a V8?
