Exactly.  I think my display in the 1990 looks pretty oldschool (seven
segment LEDs, and all) but I found the diagnostics mode very helpful
last summer when troubleshooting the AC system.

Another difference I thought of was the '92-'94 V8s have passenger side
airbags, where as the '90-'91 just have drivers side.
