... before pulling out the shotgun I would recommend that you go ahead
and buy a VAG1551/52 equivalent (ProDiag for Pal OS or RossTech for PC)
so that you can let your ECU help you! From the sound of things you
could easily save the cost of the product by not replacing an expensive
part or parts that are working fine ...
If you lived anywhere near me I'd be more than willing to hook up my
ProDiag to your car ...
