Actually, I didn't say it had any effect on it at all. I tried one (blocking the radiator to increase the heat), and since it didn't work, I'm going to try the other (working on air temp sensor.) One of the two, in my mind, is affecting my gas mileage, and since it wasn't the first, it must be the second.
Or I'm screwed and it's something completely different.
I guess I still didn't make myself clear. My coolant temp is running at spec. No problems. I don't even see a reason to cover the radiator because it seems to keep it at the right temp.
See, I think if the air temp sensor isn't sensing right, it would cause my mix to be off (which is why my car also stumbles at start and when I first move it.) and therefore killing my gas mileage.
