[V8] Dash Lights continued . . .

... before you get too carried away you may want to try rotating the
dimmer control on the instrument cluster when it is dark and you have
the parking lights on ... on one of my cars it takes some effort to find
a position where the rheostat actually makes contact and the lights come
on ... 

The wiring diagram shows that S14 (fuse 14) is the one that supplies
power for the IC illumination ... but this also covers the glovebox,
license plate and other lights ... if they are working your fuse is
probably OK.
