Congrats on the car, Dave!

Inskip told me the same thing about 6 months ago while I was there.  I had
asked them to work up a quote for a t-belt replacement and out of curiosity
asked the service rep to look my car up in the system.  He tried, and except
for my name and address, came up nil on the service history.  He said the
same thing, since the dealership changed ownership the older records have
been purged.  I was hoping to have a printout for my records.  Let me know
if you have any luck.

I've done that myself (found out that a volvo wagon I almost purchased had
$16K worth of damage due to an accident that way - didn't show up on
carfax).  However, I just found out that Inskip recently changed ownership
and all they said they could tell me was that the V8Q was bought and
serviced there but that more specific records were purged from their system.
Sounds to me like they didn't feel like looking it up since I wasn't a
customer - I think I'll try again.
