If I read CJ Miller's site correctly, and IF it applies to the 1990 V8
then it would appear I have an open coolant temp sensor circuit.
This having been the melted-harness car, I had to do tons of wiring work
so possibly I missed hooking it up.

Questions:
1. Can someone confirm that code-9 on channel-1 points to a bad coolant
temp sensor circuit?

2. Can someone articulate where on the car that sensor is, and where it
goes to in the car so I can check continuity and the sender itself?

3. Theorize on whether or not a bad coolant temp sensor would prevent the
heater valve from opening?
