Six years ago it cost me $7.00 from Mac @ Clair, full list was $11.70. 
Don't feel too bad....back then I had to pay an extra $25 for red label
shipping from Germany, because there was not one available in the US or
Canada, I got stuck in a "catch 22", Audi would not do an expedited ship
on their dime because the part was "in the system".  "In the system" at
that time meant it was in a container on a ship somewhere on the Atlantic
and could take up to 12 weeks for delivery.  I am less generous than you,
I would say that this is at most a 2 cent part.

Compare the new one to the one on the car, these things usually don't
wear much at all, the only reason I changed mine on that occasion was
because I put the tensioner fork on backwards, and it rubbed up against
the pulley when I started it up.
