[V8] electrical failure

Well - it finally happened. I was driving along minding my own business and came
upon the need to blast the doors off a Scuberdoo when coming home from skiing
last night. That in itself was a feat since scuby could not stay in his own lane
- but I digress...
After the maneuver I flipped the switch to put the low beams back on and all of
the sudden the dash started beeping and a display that looked like a bomb with
an X through it popped up on the auto-check. For a brief moment I thought I
accidentally fired a "sports car wannabe seeking missile" at the poor scuberdoo.
It turned out that only a headlight had burned out.

So - I need some new low-beam bulbs. Are there any after market bulbs that
actually improve lighting without melting the system - or do I just go back to
stock HB4 bulbs??
