[V8] Silverstars (long term impressions)

I plopped them in my 4Rnr when I felt guilty about not putting any money 
into the vehicle a couple years back.  I liked and nitoced a difference in 
the usable spectrum/frequency? of the light.  For this I liked them.

However I found they only lasted about 6months (left ide), 10 months 
(right side).
Waaaaay to short.
I have returned the stocker's to function and they've been working 
no-problem since 1997.
I think the fillaments in the Silverstars are less tollerant of vibration.
The 4Rnr electricals are very, very stable so I don't believe it's 
voltage/wattage issue.
