[V8] RE: Hydraulics & Overheating

Hey, misery enjoys company! I guess I'll find out Thursday. I am already sourcing a radiator just in case. Ingo, have a beer (or beverage of preference) in my name sometime this week. Maybe we'll *finally* have a West Coast California/Las Vegas Audi V8 get together and fix all these different little issues during a weekend maintenance marathon...anyone interested?

Anyway, I really appreciate everyone's help, humor, and suggestions.

Still dealing with my issue. I believe it's also a plugged radiator (after
replacing thermostat, fan clutch, heater valve) and finally figuring out
there were a bunch of broken plastic bits that had totally clogged in the
return nipple of mom's V8. Where the heck did they come from? Have been
backflushing, Prestone Heavy duty cleaner, distilled water & vinegar, etc.
Better but not unplugged yet. What a b!tch. Will likely have to replace
radiator. Oh, did I mention the heater core is leaking, too?

Can't have you be miserable by yourself, ya know ;-)

Thanks for the help Dave. We will find out on Thursday if this is the
culprit. I will e-mail the list and everyone that helped.
