[V8] Engine miss and no power

Jeff

The CPT could actually be a coolant temp sensor. There are 2 on the V8 I
think - one for the gauge and the other for the computer. If it's not
working, it would cause the problems mentioned - when it's cold it runs fine
and as it warms up it runs like crap - the sensor is telling the computer it
is cold, so the computer puts too much gas in the engine. As it gets hotter
that causes the engine to flood.

Had the same problem on an Infiniti G20 in the shop a few weeks ago - it
really ran bad until the sensor was replaced.

Hope that helps.

Dave
