[V8] Re: Too hot for A/C to operate?

Yeah, there is a schreader valve in there, but when I removed the high
pressure switch, it started hissing at me (bad schreader valve, bad!)

I had a mechanic friend drain the freon, replace the valve, and
replace freon and lubricant.  I then used Tony's paper clip trick and
replaced the switch a week later with a used part ;-)
