[V8] Speedline Wheels

Perhaps I didn't word that very well, but they're one of the more
'controversial' of the Audi wheels.  I've been told they're the ugliest
wheel ever put on an Audi, and I've also gotten many very positive
comments.  They certainly did change the look of the car.  Oh, and
apparently I got them in February 2000 as well.  Put a lot of miles on
them, including numerous track days.  Wheels are a lot heavier than the
stock 15", so I'd probably recommend upgrading the suspension/struts to
something stiffer at the same time.  They had a nice ride.

The wheels are a little narrow for 255's; really should be an 8.5 or 9"
wheel.  The narrower rim probably gave the car a bit softer, more
comfortable ride.

I think I used them with the UFOs as well as later with Bira system 2
brakes.

The wheels have a wonderful deep metalic silver paint on them.

Well, I had them in 2000. So there. :)

I actually loved those wheels, too my eye, they lengthened the car, and
the flat face pushed the corners out. However, I've always been a wierdo
about wheels. The same effect is noticable to me on the late 80-early
90's C4 Corvettes. The difference from year to year is only in the
wheels, but every distinct wheel changes the look of the car. I put
'93 wheels on my '90 and it changed the whole look of the car (to me)

Oh well, to each his own.
