... I guess it's the getting connectors to latch that's the biggest PITA
... IMHO, doing the sensors isn't that difficult a task ... on an MT car
that is ...
I too have found myself with a bracket and two sensors ... wondering
which one goes into which hole ... if you look at the hole the bracket
goes into you can see which sensor is looking at the flywheel teeth ...
and go from there ... if you have the factory parts they are color coded
to match the connectors on the loom ...
I don't know if the ECU is smart enough to run with the sensors swap ...
but I do know it will generate a code telling you that the sensors are
swapped ...
