[V8] nice long drive...

And I too had an outing in the V8, though it was only about 1/10th of a
mile down the road from Audi Connection and back (no hood or front
bumper installed).  But it was with the newly installed 4.2, which, so
far, seems to go like stink.  No other impressions worth putting in
print yet, except that Keith's precision throttle cable adjustment and
carbon clutch recommendation add to the sensation.

Loaded 'er up on the trailer and towed 300 miles back home for
installation of the aforementioned hood and bumper, along with the
fixing of backward-installed door lock switches, much, MUCH cleaning,
brake overhaul, and myriad other vital stuff.  Then drive/tow back down
to AC for Keith to do a real road test, and a wrap-up session hopefully
involving Coronas and limes.  And if good things come to those who wait,
then this thing should be pretty darn good.
