Well first of all welcome to the list :) I wonder if this is the V8 from
seattle perhaps that was for sale in Issaquah?

Anyway the "BRAKE" light blinks on and off on mine when I go over
speedbumps I would like to get this solved. If you find any ideas as to
what is causing this please let me know so I can have a place to start I
have inspected the entire harnass I am quite confused. My brakes work
fine and my ebrake works fine just that light blinks. I am not quite
sure what its related to but its only when the car is going over
speedbumps that it does this.

I dont know enough about the car to make a total guess as if its worth
it or not depends on alot of variables is the exhaust good? Brakes,
Brake Calipers etc mostly all of whats said before do all the window
switches work does your high beams work, cruise control? Pretty much all
those things factor in the cost and if its worth it to you and how many
miles the car has on it as well.

I mean if all that is wrong with it is what you are having right now.

Hoses Bad well I had to replace mine on my previous audi.
Timing Belt every 60k miles from what I hear is when it should be done.
Alternator well this happens to just about every car too.
Smoke would that be burning oil or what was it burning?
The Power Assist and all that I dont really know I am not 100% sure on
that system.

Just before I purchased my V8 the owner had Timing Belt replaced "water
pump included", Brakes/Calipers, Struts, Exhaust was done in the last
20k miles, Alternator looks rather new.

Things I have had to do myself, Hood Struts, 2 window switches, 1 door
handle, worlds most costly oil change look at archives :)

Things needing to be done soon, replace headlight bulbs they are crappy
yellow halogens, turnsignal/brightlight switch replaced, radio oem
antenna, trunk struts, transmission flush, get another remote key,
spark plugs, O2 sensors, window washer hose, tires.

Things that are a pipe dream at the moment.

OEM Audi radio getting all the parts for it, euro headlights.

But I mean just to get all what I want done I am guessing roughly well
over 5000$ those damn Audi OEM antennas are not cheap dont break it if
it works well damn nothing Audi is cheap.
