Wow!  I wasn't expecting such a response.

I'm strongly leaning toward sticking it out and doing the repairs one at
a time.  I'm in touch with the PO who has addressed all questions.
That's comforting.

The shop that I took it to is one of the priciest joints in town.  I
guess they've gotta pay for the cappuccino machine in the lobby somehow.
