[V8] brake upgrade options

Now that I finally have 17" wheels, I would like to upgrade the brakes
on the V8 (1 year or so timeframe).  I have the G60's currently and as
you know they leave a little to be desired.  I know I can go with a
BIRA.org setup for around $1k (right?)  

Dose anyone know how much the 100/A6 strut assemblies, A8 Rotors, TT
Caliper bracket, and TT caliper setup would cost?  Would I be able to
source them used, or is that a bad idea?  Bang for the buck, would this
be the way to go?  

I also know several guys who have upgraded their B5 S4s to bigger rotors
/ calipers, so I may be able to get the stock 2000ish S4 setup for
cheap...  What would need to be done to get them to fit on the V8?
Impossible or more hassle than it's worth?
