[V8] Oil Change woes!!! Filter stuck!

Ok I just have to ask this due to the fact I had my tool welded and I
broke the welds trying to take off the filter. I think it was cranking
600-900 pounds of pressure on that @#*$%#. I had a good 4 foot long
cheater bar on that thing and broke welds. How in sam hell could
somebody crank that much torque on a filter and get it on that tight
without leaving skuffs on the initial filter. I am wondering if the
filter is reverse threads so its needing to be turned to the right to
get it off insted of the left.... Please let me know otherwise I am just
going to keep trying to get this worked off. I dont really know what to
do right now besides weld the total hell out of this pipe. But like I
said at the rate this is going it seems like its going to need 1500-2000
pounds of pressure with a 8ft cheater bar.
I am at a loss for words here.... As far as I know oil filters are
suposto be hand tight then a slight torque if it leaks. I am never going
to let anybody change the oil in my cars ever again!
This is the way I was cranking the filter

I dont know what the hell to do other than weld it overkill and make it
so its as strong as possible... maybe have my device filled with molten
steel and make it a solid shaft.... I dont know this is borderline
retarted on what I am having to do to get this thing off. Am I just
spinning it the wrong way or what is going on here? I am like I said at
a loss for words...
Thanks,
