[V8] wheel fitment... again

According to http://toy4two.home.mindspring.com/offset.html

'The clearance from stut [sic] housing to the inside of the wheel will
be 9mm LESS
The outside edge of the wheel will EXTEND an extra 3mm'

I had 10mm less when I ran the ET45 7.5" wide S4 wheels on my V8 (before
the big 25mm spacers) and it just barely fit with (narrow) 225 wide
tires and a lowered suspension which helps with the angle of the tyerod.

Dave Head is running the Bolero 10 spoke wheels on his lowered V8, which
are also 8" wide, but have an offset of 35mm. His inside rim is 6mm
less (yours would be 9mm), and he says with a 235 wide tire, his pinkie
barely fits in the gap between tire and tyerod...

My guess is you would need at minimum a 3mm spacer on a 235 wide tire, a
little more with a wider tire. A 6.35mm spacer would put the centerline
of the wheel over the centerline of the wheel bearing.

A 5mm spacer would probably be the best fit, effectively giving your
wheels a 33mm offset; not too much unwanted force on the wheel bearings,
no problems with clearance, and extra 8mm bling on the outside edge (I
am running an extra 15mm and it looks pretty nice).

Subject: [V8] wheel fitment... again

So, without too much ado - a simple YES or NO will do

on a 1990 V8 with G60s and stock suspension...

will these fit (and turn too, you smartasses): 18x8 rims with 38mm
offset?

and if I swap to H&R with Koni suspension will the slight drop prevent
these from fitting?

<here endeth the request>

Thanks :)
John
