The spring that keeps the visor in position is internal to the visor. Had a 
floppy visor on a 5K tq  some years ago and tried repairing it with no luck. 
Picked up a visor at a junk yard for $10. I'm not sure, but I think any visor 
from a type 44 will fit the V8.
